WAYNETOWN — Funeral services for Harry Taylor Garrett of Newtown were conducted Friday afternoon at the Servies Funeral Home. Rev. Knopfmeier of Frankfort officiated. Omer Pevler sang "Sweet Hour of Prayer" and "God Will Take Care of You," concluding the service with the "Lord's Prayer." He was accompanied by Mrs. Nellie Snyder, organist. The pallbearers were Clark Dinwoodie, Leslie Grubbs, Wesley Jurss, Kenneth Dickerson, Louie Smith, Preston Williams and Lawrence Kirkpatrick. Flowers were carried by members of Mr. Garrett's sons' Sunday School class: Harold Pearson, Charles Stafford, Jim Grubbs, Bon Wiggins, Jay McClain, Don Cushman, Martha Townsend, Karen Lawson, Terry Kerns, Jim Hayman, Wayne Luster, John McKee, Marcia Dickerson, Ann Stafford, Mary Dinwoodie and Sherry Dinwoodie.
